Description From Source TITLE: Immigration – Migrants in the community – French migrant of 1920 honoured by French Government – Mrs Helene Brenac, who was recently made a Chevalier dans L’Ordre de la Legion d’Honneur (Knight in the Order of the Legion of Honour), came to Australia in 1920. During the war she was secretary of the League of help, and after the war, travelled round teaching French to high school students in Australian country towns. Mrs Brenac and Miss E Herry discussing a magazine in the Sydney library of the Alliance Francaise.
