From Berrima District Historical & Family History Society 102374 The Girls School, Berrima NSW The Tochterschule (The Daughter’s School) in Berrima. Teacher, Dierke Voss, with (clockwise from him), Carmen Machotka, Eva Machotka and Hanna Hurtzig. A hut on the river bank below Wilshire Street Berrima was used as a schoolhouse for the children of German internees in Berrima during World War I.
