| Short Description | James Calomeris, owner and editor of the Hellenic Herald (Greek newspaper), 1963-1972. He has also been Australian correspondent for the British Greek journal, Krikos. He came to Australia in 1939. He has served on various Government bodies, including the N.S.W. Ethnic Community Council and the Commonwealth Immigration Advisory Council, and has been involved in the Greek community in Australia since his arrival. |
