Translation
“I, like all the children, have left our homeland Greece, but everything has remained in our memory. Greece has the most beautiful sky and the most beautiful sun, and the bluest sea. It has its beautiful islands that are scattered here and there, and they look like brides in the Aegean.”
Penelope Romfea, born in 1962
“I think something changed in my life as soon as I started studying the history of my country. Little by little I started to realize the meaning of the word homeland. Without homeland, people cannot live. So let’s love and preserve it”
Haroula Sanni
“I love Greece because my mother and my father were born there. And I love it because my mother came from Greece and gave me the light of day”
Eleftheria Karabasis
“The goats in Greece make me want to stay there. Everyone in Greece is a nice person, no one argues there.”
Dimitrios Ziogas
