Abstract
Extensive collection (912 archives) of Greek oral historical material (mainly interviews) from 1965 – 2003. Anna Ιoannidis (volunteer at the Hellenic Historical and Cultural Centre) spent many hours recordings any Greek radio programs between 1965-2003 on cassettes tapes. Material was passed later to a USB and now it can be found at the data of the centre. Goal was to preserve the oral history of the Greek community in NSW. Interviews on SBS. GOC of NSW, Association Hippocrates, the Greek Festival οf Sydney, Hellenic Art Theatre, Pontians, Greeks in Sydney, Archdiocese, S.A.E, Panarkadian Assoc, E.K.E.M.E, Hellenic Club in Sydney, Radio National Arts, MUGA, Socrates Association New Castle radio programs.
Archive includes interviews conducted by Lambis Paschalidis, and personal interviews by Anna Ioannidis conducted to Rebetes musicians in Australia. Attached to the sound recordings, there is a file referring to the name of journalists and participants, title of the program, and precise date.
