Correspondence files, 1942-1945: 'Melbourne', Griffith & Leeton & Yenda', USA Varie (miscellaneous)', being mainly correspondence, 1943-1945, mainly in Italian, with branch members of Griffith, Leeton and Yenda; and correspondence, 1942-1945, in English and Italian, regarding the case of Antonio Zandona and his application for compassionate leave from work in the Civil Aliens' Corps in South Australia, to return to his sick wife, Angelina, at Yenda. Correspondents include Angelian Zandona; Jim Healy, General Secretary, Waterside Workers' Federation of Australia; Laura Gapp, Honorary Secretary, Australian Civil Rights Defence Leagues, and Federal Members of Parliament.
