Description From Source137 mm (Width), 11 mm (Depth), 172 mm (Height). Coloured floral fabric covered cover, filled with inscriptions in German and Italian as well as ink illustrations. Includes some ‘stuck in’ pictures. Most entries are dated 1932 and 1933. Autograph album collated by Claire French (nee Wieser) from friends and relatives, circa 1932. Of particular interest is a transfer of a boy with the Nazi flag which Claire tried to remove at the time. She recalls removing entries with Nazi symbols whenever they were placed in her book and remembers other imagery was encouraged to be subdued. Claire brought the book with her when she migrated to Australia from Germany in 1951 with her family.
