Abstract

Coilection includes snapshots of Ann Lambrou working in a milk bar, shots from the Kytherian dance ball dressed in a Kytherian costume, moments of a Greek baptism, moments from Sunday’s Greek school, Greek soldiers in the Australian army (Casimatis brothers). Handwritings of the president of The Christian Ladies and Girls’ Greek Orthodox Society of Australia, Mrs Stavropoulos, Mr Vergitsakis’ correspondence, Anne’s Greek school notebooks (6th grade), wishes cards in Greek, newspaper extracts, invitations to social events of the Greek community, books on financial assistance from Australia to vulnerable groups in Greece and Cyprus (refugees – hospital patients and others), Boxes also include newspaper extracts of great achievements of Greek Australians, and relevant to the Greek orthodox church.
