Description From SourceFull title: Nava, Luigi (Army) PWI 47287 – Born: Not known – Captured: 22 January 1941, Tobruk Libya – Previously interned: Not known – Arrived Australia: Not known – Interned: Myrtleford, No 5 Camp – Departed: ORMONDE, 26 December 1946, for Italy – L’eco del campo’ Number 14 Australia, 19 November 19[–?] [Handmade POW newsletter in Italian; annotated] NAVA – found in luggage when transferring to PWCC V 20 Mildura 1944. This POW camp newsletter entitled ‘L’eco del campo’ was found as an estray and is annotated with the information – It is believed that this prisoner was in number S.5 farm labour camp. S.5 stands for the Prisoner of War Control Centre in Mount Gambier in the south east of South Australia. The camps were No 14a (Italian prisoners), 14b (Japanese) 14c (Japanese), 14d (German and Italian), 9 (Italian) and 10 (Italian) were all part of Loveday Camp at Barmera in South Australia.
