These drawings were made in late November 1819 when Pellion, accompanied by the naturalists Quoy and Guadichaud, spent a little time at Sir John Jamison’s first Regentville homestead, en route to the Blue Mountains. The naturalists are seen in the foreground [L2007/133-1] with Gregory Blaxland whom Governor Macquarie had asked to act as guide to the French officers. |
