The letters recount details of Rizzo’s shipboard voyage from Genoa to Sydney, via the Suez Canal, and subsequent years in Australia. Through the letters Rizzo discusses the problems and successes of his life in Australia, including the birth of his two children and the purchase of land and building of his home in the outer Sydney suburbs. |
