Description From Source0.15 m (1 box) Comprises letters and photographs of Alberto Rizzo, an Italian who emigrated to Australia in 1951, sent to his mother in Italy. The letters recount details of Rizzo’s shipboard voyage from Genoa to Sydney, via the Suez Canal, and subsequent years in Australia. Through the letters Rizzo discusses the problems and successes of his life in Australia, including the birth of his two children and the purchase of land and building of his home in the outer Sydney suburbs.
