Abstract

MS Acc10.199 consists of material relating to HMT “Dunera” and the Hay and Tatura Internment Camps. The collection comprises three handmade cards illustrated in watercolour to Eric Liffman; three programmes for the camp production of “Snow White”, one including a woodblock print and one signed and illustrated in watercolour by internees; 45 rpm record of Eric Liffman Sings Folk Songs; pencil sketch of Eric Liffman; poem written for Eric Liffman; “London Zweit Heimat” musical score written for Eric Liffman by Ray Martin; receipt from Tatura camp management for money paid to the coffee stall; and, a wooden spoon carved and used by Eric Liffman while on HMT “Dunera” (1 packet, 1 fol. box).
