Description From Source140 mm (Width), 260 mm (Height) Route map used by German migrant Guenter Schneider during his voyage on the Nederland Line ship MV Johan van Oldenbarnevelt from December 1954 – January 1955. Map folded into several sections with blue cover and graphic image of a compass. Inside cover has a table completed in handwriting recording daily longitude and latitude ship positions at noon. The map opens out to reveal a world map in colour and in Dutch, marking company shipping routes from Europe to Indonesia and Australia.
