| Description From Source | 140 mm (Width), 260 mm (Height) Route map used by German migrant Guenter Schneider during his voyage on the Nederland Line ship MV Johan van Oldenbarnevelt from December 1954 – January 1955. Map folded into several sections with blue cover and graphic image of a compass. Inside cover has a table completed in handwriting recording daily longitude and latitude ship positions at noon. The map opens out to reveal a world map in colour and in Dutch, marking company shipping routes from Europe to Indonesia and Australia. |
