Abstract

Hirschfeld-Mack had been an artist of the Bauhaus movement, but was when he came to Australia as a Jewish refugee he was originally interned in Orange, Hay and Tatura camps, the subject of many of his art-works from the 1940s. https://adb.anu.edu.au/biography/hirschfeldmack-ludwig-10510.
