Description From Source Description Photo of some of the men that were interned at Berrima Gaol NSW during World War I. One of the men was August Ludekin who served as second engineer on the Cannstatt. The photo and the writing on the back have been slightly damaged by water. The possible translation is: ”Antwerp, 2 Nov. Steaming to ? and the post must be sent immediately, if I ? to?. To Melbourne 8 days later to Sydney 12 days later to Brisbane, therefore to the arrival of this card. A small picture of the Hamburg harbour. Do you know it? With hearty greetings, August”.
