About this object Document in Vietnamese. Partial translation written on document, which explains it is an invitation to the Australian Medical Team Chief to attend a nursing graduation ceremony. Uncertain of document author. In 1962 the Australian government was asked by the United States of America to supply Surgical and Medical Services to the people of South Vietnam. The Australian government deployed civilian surgical/medical teams to work in four provincial areas – Long Xuyen, Bien Hoa, Vung Tau and Ba Ria.
