MS Acc05.103 comprises papers relating to Legge’s publications on Indonesia, Sukarno and the Australian Institute of International Affairs, and to Legge’s professional engagements and role on various boards and committees (2 boxes, 7 cartons).

The Acc07.139 instalment comprises correspondence, 1948-1999, general files on the Rockefeller Foundation, Singapore Foundation of South East Asia, and the Asian Studies Association of Australia, and Legge’s Indonesian diaries from 1956 (20 boxes).

The Acc11.084 instalment comprises research notes and papers pertaining to Legge’s early studies, his role in the development of Australian academia in the area of Asian studies at various universities and his work on the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Board. It includes substantial correspondence files covering the period 2000-2010. Also of note: papers pertaining to the State Library/Museum of Victoria Building Advisory Committee, notes relating to the symposium on Max Crawford’s School of History and notes on the formation of the Herb Feith Foundation (11 boxes).

The Acc13.162 instalment comprises papers relating to Monash University’s Centre of Southeast Asian Studies publications, University of Sydney Advisory Committee, the formation of the Herb Feith Foundation, Victorian State Library Advisory Committee, “Democracy in Indonesia” Conference 1992, lecture notes and personal references (2 boxes).
