Description Heavy calico bag stitched on three sides open and unhemmed at top, design of bowl of flowers in green, lettering with red chinese characters on each side. Bag has been washed. Inscription Swee Hih Chan & Company Panang Best Australian Gadiolo Brand Wheat Flour Corowa Milling Co Ltd Corowa NSW 50 lbs. Gross weight when packed. Dimensions 685 x 430 History of Item Corowa Milling Co Flour used by Mr Dunstan at Federal Backery, Howlong. Used it for his bread because used hard wheat. All mills export flour overseas using specific trading companies and export brands. Displayed in Bake exhibition, Lane Gallery, Albury LibraryMuseum, 7 February – 29 March 2015. |
