Souvenirs: Three Adelaide Hospital Postcards
Translation
A rough translation of the letters read:
1. Dear dad. I wish you good luck for your birthday. It is really hot this evening in the shade so I will now finish (sign off). With heartfelt greetings from Gladys.
2. Just a few lines. I will probably not be able to come home for Christmas but I will have a free day in the week of New Years in which may mean I can get out with Raphel to do sport otherwise we won’t come home until after/around July so I wish you all a merry Christmas and New Year.
With heartfelt greetings from Gladys.
