Abstract

Extensive collection of correspondence with her good friends Vaso and Leonidas Kalamaras, Perth, WA; invitations to Leonidas’ exhibitions, and letters. Their letters reflect a beautiful friendship. Collection include correspondence (1978-2000) with Dimitris Tsaloumas including early manuscripts of the son of Kyr Saki (Ο γιος του κυρ Σάκη – Ρωμαϊκό παραμύθι για προχωρημένα παιδιά).

Description From SourceSource Purchased from Antigone Kefala in 2007 Administrative / Biographical history Romanian-born of Greek parents, Antigone Kefala has lived in Australia since 1980. She has worked as an arts administrator, a teacher of English as a second language and is a prominent commentator on Australian multicultural writing. Since 1973 she has published six books of poetry and several novels. She is widely represented in Australian anthologies.
