Description From Source3 leaves : 30 cm. The author describes his voyage to Australia on an unnamed sailing vessel (found to be the Caesar Goddeffroy). He describes his arrival in Sydney; finding work; meeting friends from home; the price of goods; wages for various jobs, which he says are high compared with Germany; the depravity of some women in Sydney. He gives advice to those who may follow him to Australia, such as food and drink to bring for the voyage, and not to sign with an agent, as you can make more money on your own.
