Abstract

1 card : colour illustrations ; 7 x 11 cm. Part of the Trade cards collection held in the trade catalogues ephemera collected by the National Library of Australia. “Le tour du Monde en 84 ètapes”. Advertising card for Guerin Boutron, for its chocolate. Number 24 in a series of travel cards. Colour illustration of two young western children, the boy dressed like an explorer and the girl in bright red dress, resting near the front of a large horseshoe waterfall (possibly Hopkins Falls, near Warnambool?). The boy is sitting and the girl is standing behind of him, both face toward the falls. The verso of the card has text advertising chocolate.
