Description From Source1 volume, 236 pages. (2.0 cm.) Irish manuscripts in Australia, a partial shelf list. Irish manuscripts, a book presented by the Rev. Dr. Barry, 12th May 1863, Ireland, written in Gaelic. This manuscript was written in 1833 by Dáibhidh de Barra of Dungourney in east Co. Cork. The manuscript supplies evidence of work of Dáibhidh’s that was thought not to have survived, namely translations of English prayer books into Irish. In addition, the manuscript contains an autograph poem on pp. 230-35.
