Document letting Japanese soldiers know that if they come in they will be treated properly. Item souvenired by William Herbert Greenman VX126789 2nd AIF. Refer Cat No 81 for his service details and other. Allied Document written in Japanese. Front has red & blue stripe with Japanese & some English writing. Back has further Japanese writing in black ink with a red Japanese stamp. Front left below blue stripe: THE BEARER HAS CEASED RESISTANCE. TREAT HIM WELL IN ACCORDANCE WITH INTERNATIONAL LAW. TAKE HIM TO THE NEAREST COMMANDING OFFICER. C – IN – C ALLIED FORCES |
