A small exercise book of 103 pages, numbered consecutively by the diarist and completely filled with extracts from her reading. The pages are closely written transcriptions from the writings of Scott, Wordsworth, Shelley, Carlyle, Milton, Disraeli, and others. Some selections from Lamartine are written in French. |
