Description from source
A volume assembled by the Library from various sources including Australian Museum, 1902; Helenus Hope Scott Wallace, 1925; Rusden; R.M. Dukes, 1931 and Mrs Alec Thomson, 1944. These papers were bound into a volume by the Library after 1917. The papers were removed from the volume for preservation work in 1982.

Includes certificate of attendance at lectures, 1833-1834, from the Royal Great Britannic-Hanoverian University, in German with English translation (Australian Museum number H 435); other certificates of attendance, in German and Latin; passport no. 12328, 1841, in German; declaration by Leichhardt’s mother concerning his estate, 1853, in German with English translation.
