Extract from “Athenaeum”, 1838, re. Polar expedition of D’Urville. Beautemps-Beaupre – document re. charting of Santa Cruz by Carteret, and by D’Entrecasteaux. Recommendation to the Academy of Gauttier, Frederic Lutke, William Fitzwilliam Owen, James Clark Ross and Baron de Wrangle.
