Also Titled: Royal board : restriction order : careful with fire and candles A rare Chinese-language item relating to the Gold rush period in Victoria. A government proclamation warning Chinese merchants and diggers on the dangers of open fires. The proclamation announces the need for such a warning because of the increasing number of Chinese on the diggings.
