Dated 6 June 1852 – Certificate relating to his practise of medicine in Bischholz (in French) 2. Dated 15 July 1852 relating to his practise in the town of Ingviller (in French) 3. Dated 4 June 1855 signed by Dr George Critchett F.R.C.S. (1817-1882) 4. Dated 7 January 1856 signed by Dr [illegible] of Moorfields Ophthalmic Hospital 5. Date 7 January 1856 signed by Ed Stanley (1793-1862), Vice President of the Royal College of Surgeons of England General invitation to members of the Medical Society of the district of Saverne, that M. Muller will give a talk on touch at a meeting of the Society on 30 September 1851 (in French) Letter of introduction signed and sealed by Robert Waterson, Vice Consul for Hamburg, December 1852 Presentation Address to Muller dated 17 January 1855 marking ‘appreciation of your ability and philanthropy as well as the distinguished reputation you enjoy in your medical capacity and the honourable position and gentlemanly bearing which have always characterised your career among us.’ Signed by prominent businessmen, tradesmen and members of the German and French communities. Signatories include James Singleton, Inspector of Police, Benham Thompson, Augustus Dreuther, Jeremiah Leithridge, Arthur Holroyd MLC and Edward Smith Hill Testimonial Address presented to Muller at the German Club, O’Connell Street, accompanied by two engraved silver salvers, inscribed ‘By a few of his friends and patients on his departure from the Colony for England, in testimony of their esteem and regard, for his professional skill and ability’, and dated 18 January 1855. Signatories include Thomas Spencer, Richard Cowans, Roger Murphy and Hungarian -born jeweller Adolphe Blau of Blau and Co. in George Street Realia, R 2416, A tin containing the documents bears a luggage tag labelled with the name of Muller’s younger son, Franz David Muller (1965-1949)
