Transcript of “Expeditionsbericht, S.1-175”; photocopy of German monograph “Kurze Beschreibung der neuen Colonie Queensland in Australien und ihrer vortheile fur ansiedler und einwanderer”; article about Australia in newspaper, “Australische Monat Zeitung”, No.3, April 1962; German transcript of Hermann Beckler’s shipboard diary, documenting his voyage from Hamburg to Moreton Bay (1855); Extracts from “Das Ausland”, Vol. 33, 1860; transcripts of letters written by Hermann Beckler between 1855 and 1861 with handwritten index; microform copies of the original handwritten diary and letters. After testifying to the Royal Commission of Inquiry into the expedition in 1862, he returned to Germany and spent the rest of his life as a village doctor.
