H 87mm x W 138mm A colour postcard from Belgium, possibly from WW1. It features a map of Australia and surrounding countries. On the right hand side of the postcard is an image of a flock of sheep and a man. The words of the advertisement are printed in French at the top of the card and in Old Dutch at the bottom of the card which translated says: There is no better starch than REMY Starch, made of “Zuiveren” Rice. On the back is an image of a lion’s head which is surrounded by the words “Marque de Fabrique / Depossee.” Place depicted: Cambridge Gulf, Western Australia, Australia. |
