These were prepared for the passengers and contain a digest of world news, the position of the ship etc. They are in German and another eastern European language (possibly Czech or Latvian) with a smattering of English. The General Black was a passenger ship. This voyage started in Bremerhaven (Germany) and ended in Melbourne. It took place in April 1948.
