The Daily Chronicle reports from Melbourne that the Immigration Commissioner has uncovered a major conspiracy that involved evading the restrictive provisions of the Immigration Act and smuggling Chinese into Australia. Also involved in this plot were whites, who made large profits from this “smuggling trade.”
