| Description From Source | 8 folders of manuscript material. This collection contains nine items: three quarterly school reports for Victor and Alfred Viertel from East Brisbane State School. Item 2: “Festive Prolog” by J. Viertel, written for the 25th Anniversary of the Brisbane German Gymnastic Club. English transcription, probably originally written in German. Item 3: Rules of the Brisbane “Deutscher Turn-Verein”, established 1883. Rules in German and English. Item 4: Concert program for the Brisbane Deutscher Turn-Verein. Item 5: “Der Reiter und sein Lieb”, by Edwin Schultz. Music with lyrics in German. Item 6: Chorus Sheet for the United Ancient Order of Druids. Item 7: A postcard Showing Silver Wedding presents, probably connected to the German Club. Item 8: Newspaper cutting showing a photograph taken by one of the Viertel family while residents of Marburg. Photograph dates to 1912. Item 9: Programme of entries in the Juvenile Eisteddfod. |
