Description From Source26 volumes, 1054 sheets : 35 cm Papers of Martin Spitzer comprising: diaries of World War Two experiences (written in Slovak); drafts of his autobiography ‘Kde Ostalo Srdce’/’Storm Over Tatra’ in Slovak, and published copies in English and Slovak; papers relating to the publication of his autobiography including book reviews, correspondence and book launch invitations; biographical information; certificates presented to Martin Spitzer when travelling overseas; drafts of a paper on Eastern Europe; papers relating to his friend Marek Frauwirth, and memoirs written by Marek’s brother Josef Frauwirth; copy of a letter from a Slovak girl who survived numerous concentration camps; research notes on Jews, anti-Semitism and the Holocaust; book listing the Holocaust victims of Zilina, Slovakia; papers relating to his Master’s thesis ‘Geriatric Accommodation in Adelaide’ including copies of the thesis; and papers relating to his work as a lecturer in surveying and cartography.
